About Me
The most important thing to note about me is that I am saved and made new through Jesus Christ. All my stories are spun from the thread of my faith. God may never be mentioned but God is the lens of which I see my stories through.
I went to the University of North Carolina Asheville and got my bachelors degree in New Media and got a minor in Creative Writing. I focused on video art and design and fell in love with video making. I have always loved creating stories, whether by myself or with others, and I thought this was the way I wanted to do that. However, God had a different plan and I am here now writing my stories with words instead of video.
At a young age I hated reading. Hate is a strong word and it needs to be used. The reason was that I was not good at reading. It was very hard for me and I even got held back in the first grade because of it. It wasn’t until the eighth grade, when I started reading YA fantasy that I fell in love with it. Mind you this whole time I loved creating stories and storytelling, I just told them to friends. I never thought I could be a writer because I am so bad with grammar and spelling. I thought my weakness would hold me back. But God takes your weaknesses and turns them into strengths or at least helps you find ways to get over your weaknesses.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your thoughts on AI?
AI is a tool plan and simple. Like any other tool, people can abuse it or rely on it too much. A lot goes into writing a book, character creation, worldbuilding, plot, writing the first drift, editing, rewriting, cover art, formatting, marketing, editing again, and even more. If you are good at all but one or two things, what do you do? Get help. That is where tools and people come in. I use AI in about two of those processes. I still am the one writing my novels. I use spell check, which a lot of people use, and I use it when I have writers block so I don't have to look at a blank screen. Then I spend a longer time fixing what it did. I create the whole world, the plot, the characters. I also edit it and edit it some more. Everything is my ideas. I still hire editors and cover artist because I am not perfect and need help. Not to mention all the times I bounce ideas off of my husband and friends. Just because AI touched part of the process doesn't mean it's any less mine.
I'm not a fan of someone who just tells AI to write a book about point "a" with a character who goes to point "b" and that is all the input and effort the person puts into it. But I also don't have to read it.
